"The ear favors no particular "point of view." We are enveloped by sound. It forms a seamless web around us. We hear sounds from everywhere, without ever having to focus. Sounds come from "above," from "below," from in "front" of us, from "behind" us, from our "right," from our "left." For me, it was the sound of the train station. As a kid, I used to just go to the local train station and watch the trains go by for a whole day. Still to this day, the love for the train does not end. For this project, I took inspiration from a Japanese train line/station that I used a lot back then. Bjork Magazine

"The stars are so big, The Earth is so small, Stay as you are" (McLuhan 79) As I look over the picture I took from Bjorklunden's trip, I want to make one specific theme about the quote above. As the quote says "Stay as you are", I wanted to show with these pictures how people look for something yet the thing you are looking for is right there in front of you. People are being blinded to the world in front of them. We all look for something out of reach before what is being presented.  I tried to add some story to the book by adding a little bit of words. I started with the entrance to Bjorklunden and continued with trail pictures. Then, I continued with a tree pointing everywhere. And finally finding something inspiring scenery which was just in front of the people. I tried to indicate that what you are looking for is just in front of you by ending the magazine with a night picture of the same scenery as some pictures from the daytime.

Everything from the weather to the nature around the building is only there at Bjorklunden; those things cannot be seen in most of the places I go. Bjorklunden is a special place. Bjorklunden is small yet huge in everyone's heart.   The night sky seems endless and huge. Or are we the ones who are small? As I took these pictures, I thought about how small humans are. As McLuhan stated above, stars are big, and the Earth is small. If you change the perspective to humans, it would be "The earth is so big, and the humans are so small." Against the power of nature, we are powerless. We are amazed by something nature has created unconsciously. Humans are so small, The Earth is so big....
